Folding chairs with clear colored seats were everywhere in the late 1960s, and they still solve the same problem: extra seats that disappear when you need the floor back. The Amber Fold Chair has a polished chrome tubular frame and a seat and back in translucent amber acrylic that throws a warm glow on the floor when the sun hits it.
Construction
- Chrome-plated steel tube frame with a central pivot hub
- Seat and back in tinted acrylic, framed by the chrome tube
- Folds to a slim profile for wall hanging or stacking on a cart
- Floor caps on the foot rails
Acrylic wipes clean in seconds and does not absorb spills, so it suits ice cream counters, covered patios and party rooms where chairs are moved all day.
Where it works
Overflow seating for burger joints, milkshake bars with a party room, pop-up and event space, and retro-styled patios with roof cover. It also works as a statement chair at a long communal table.
Options: acrylic tint (amber shown; clear, smoke, pink, blue and more on request), frame finish (chrome or powder-coated color), seat pad. Ask for a pre-production sample to check the folding action and the tint against your interior.
Folding chairs are lighter than fixed dining chairs; for main dining in high-traffic rooms, pair them with a sturdier chair.
