Not every retro room is chrome and checkerboard. The Creamsicle Bolster Chair takes its cue from the softer, sculptural end of the 1960s: a plump round seat and one cylindrical bolster for a back, both in a textured orange upholstery, on a black frame that is all straight lines underneath.
What you see in the photo
- Round, domed seat cushion with a generous crown
- Single bolster back pad, fixed to the frame with a black strap detail
- Black-finished frame: two round front legs and flat slab supports at the rear that rise to carry the bolster
- Compact footprint that tucks under a two-top
Construction
Commercial frame, glued and fixed at every joint, with high-resilience foam in the seat and a firm-wrapped bolster that keeps its shape. Floor glides under every foot. Foam can be specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
Where it works
Milkshake bars, dessert counters, retro cafes and lounge corners where you want a chair that photographs well and still takes daily use. The textured fabric shown suits lighter-traffic areas; for breakfast rushes and kids, order it in a contract vinyl in the same orange, or in cherry, mint or mustard.
Options: cover (textured contract fabric or vinyl), color, frame finish, glide type.
