Square tufting is the diner's answer to the button-tufted Chesterfield: every square is stitched as its own small pillow, so the back looks generous and holds its shape. This banquette sets three rows of squares in deep oxblood vinyl.
Design details
- High back in a grid of square tufts, three rows deep
- Brass edge trim around the back and sides
- Seat with a rolled waterfall front edge that is kind to the backs of legs
- Raised on slim black steel legs, open underneath
Oxblood is darker and more forgiving than cherry red, and with brass it gives a diner a supper-club look for the evening without losing the retro feel at breakfast. The steel legs keep the long banquette light against a wall and make cleaning easy.
Construction: hardwood and plywood frame, glued and screwed; each tuft square filled individually; high-resilience foam; contract vinyl; brass-finish trim; powder-coated steel legs. Foam can be specified to meet CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
Options: length, back height and number of rows, square size, trim finish (brass, chrome or none), plinth instead of legs, vinyl colour.
